Rainbow babies and cloth nappies.

So as it turns out my two children are both rainbow babies. The babies born after miscarriages. The Rainbow of Hope that comes out of the Storm, as the quote I posted near the beginning of my journey said.

As such they have both spent most of their babyhoods in rainbow outfits and I pretty much buy every Rainbow of Hope products that I can find for them.

They both wore cloth nappies throughout their babyhoods, and they have each had their own special Rainbow of Hope nappy.

The very special nappy that friends had made for me after the miscarriage between the two kids. This is Ayla wearing the nappy to commemorate the baby before her.

Always in our Hearts

And although I’m no longer buying nappies (we’re hoping Ayla potty learns soon!!), I still get them matchy matchy outfits, especially when it’s pyjamas. And they both still adore rainbows.

I’m hoping to be a little better at updating these posts going forward, and I’ll probably post some posts looking back over the last few years to fill out their stories a bit.
